One of our Advisory Board, Reynolds Jones, has attempted to engage the Reverend Tim LaHaye in a written debate, but although we know that Mr. LaHaye's publisher received the challenge (certified mail, return receipt requested), Mr. LaHaye has not responded to the challenge. A copy of the first challenge letter can be accessed by double clicking on the appropriate icon below,as can a copy of the return receipt.
As the letter was written from a home address, the address and email addresses have been altered to an unrecognizable format. A second challenge to LaHaye will go out from the organizational address shortly, and a copy will be posted as soon as it is mailed.
The same board member has attempted to engage the Reverend J. Bradley Jones, a fundamentalist/charismatic Episcopalian, in debate. The priest has thus far declined. The story continues to unfold.
